Safety Habits That Stick

A practical checklist for keeping funds safe.

01

A layered defense

Security isn't one trick - it's habits that stack. Use a hardware wallet for meaningful balances. Keep a separate 'hot' wallet for experimenting with new dApps, so a bad approval can't touch your savings.

Bookmark the real sites you use and reach them only through those bookmarks, never through search ads or DM links.

02

Before you sign

Slow down at the signature prompt. Check the site's exact URL, read what permission is being requested, and confirm the amount. Revoke old token approvals you no longer need.

When in doubt, do nothing. Missing an opportunity is recoverable; a drained wallet usually is not.

Remember

Verify twice, sign once. Most losses happen in the last click before the funds leave.
